Mack and Minerva

Let's say that in the past 24 hours, they've settled in. 

After seeing these two kittens Friday night, reading about how they came to the shelter (found in ditch, bottle-fed by foster mom) we ended up back at Petsmart on Sunday afternoon to adopt them.

The funny thing is that we saw them Friday night on a "let's go to Petsmart and look at the cats" whim, then Saturday we went our separate ways, not even talking about them; Will was in Cynthiana all day to help his mom, and I cleaned house then drove to Edmonson Co. for a photo session.  Sunday, after church and Cracker Barrel (yum. just saying.) we happened to end up in Petsmart again.  (what a coincidence!)  Now, I love surprises.  Love.  When he turned to me and asked "So, what do you think about getting a cat?" I froze, just like when he proposed to me, hoping to freeze the moment. After what seemed like an eternity,  I barely muttered a positive response that likely didn't convey my excitement, which is the story of my life. Minutes later, the paperwork was filled out, free kitty litter and food selected, and we headed out the door with this brother and sister in tow.
